I am a biologist and researcher from Lausanne, Switzerland. I am addicted to nature and its wonders. As a wildlife geneticist I spent a lot of time in front of my computer, thus I had to find a way to reconnect with my first passion, nature and wildlife. Photography was then the obvious solution to capture the beauty of nature that we have in Switzerland and the perfect excuse to go on adventure. It is alsomaybe a way as well to have more impact on the public than through my scientific publications. At least I hope that the pictures on this website will help people to see the beauty of nature.
Ealier pictures on this website were taken with my first "real" camera, a Nikon D90, then more recently (last two years) with the FujiFilm XT1 + tc 1.4X and the fujinon100-400mm. This year (2021) I went back to Nikon, with the lastest pictures taken with the Nikon D850 + Tamron 150-600mm. This change was made at the right time as I was just (technically) ready for the magical encounter with the the young wolf pictured on the first page of this website.
I hope you will enjoy this website.
